This Cartier Santos De Cartier Skeleton watch ref. WHSA0015 has been custom diamond-set with G/H colour VVS round brilliant-cut diamonds to the full case, bracelet, clasp, and bracelet edges. Rainbow baguette-cut gemstones have been set into the skeletonized openwork dial. This piece also features a bezel with oversized VVS brilliant-cut diamonds. We have used pavé diamond setting whereby the stones are positioned closer together in a honeycomb pattern (less gaps, more diamonds, minimal edges).
The Cartier Santos, first designed in 1904, and debuted as one of the first modern watches for men, designed specifically to be worn on the wrist. Today, the Santos remains one of the most beloved models produced by Cartier. This particular piece model ref: WHSA0015 is the rare Santos De Cartier Skeleton, large model; Manufacture mechanical movement with manual winding, calibre 9611 MC. The stainless steel case is 39.8mm with a seven-sided crown set with a faceted sapphire, blued-steel sword-shaped hands, sapphire crystal, and case back. This model comes with two interchangeable bracelets (with ‘SmartLink’ adjustment system), one full steel and the second blue Alligator skin with interchangeable steel folding buckle. Both straps are fitted with the “QuickSwitch” interchangeable system. The dial features skeletonized bridges that form Roman numerals. The movement is made of 138 individually numbered parts, including 20 jewels
